A PRE WORLD WAR ONE SAXON INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD, UNSIGNED,
circa 1900, with straight plated blade with triple narrow blind fullers forming into double fullers near the tip, the right hand central fuller marked 'EISENHAUER GARANTIRT', the forte marked with a 'Z' in a shield and the reverse with a monogram, possibly Friedrich III, 'D' shaped brass hilt with pierced folding guard featuring the Saxony coat of arms, wire-bound sharkskin semi pistol-grip hilt and cranked moulded pommel, complete with its blued iron scabbard
